What is SecretSaya all about?
SecretSaya is a community web project for individuals to reveal their secrets in a form of an artwork (inclusive of photography, image editing, illustrations and others), voice recitation (inclusive of any interpretation of using voice) and writing (in the forms of random thoughts, poem, fiction or anything else)
Users are advised to use a 'secret' username if they don't want to be known in the community - and users are free to reveal as many secrets as they want each day. Each secret they revealed are then shared with the community in which they would be rated and commented.Why the name SecretSaya?
We believe everybody got something to hide. Doesn't matter whether it is a big or small secret. A funny or sad one. That's what make us interesting as a human!
Being secretive is human nature. Nothing new about it. It's a natural human trait. But what will happen if we drag it far too long? What will happen if we keep the negativity and burden to ourselves, too long? We let you do the thinking.
The word 'Saya' is often or most likely used in most South East Asian countries namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei (to name a few.. sorry if we assumed wrong, please let us know if we did!) which means 'me, myself or I' - we intended to create an alternate meaning of My Secrets which is Secret Saya!
